It's easy to apply to Academia!

Student Visa Students

For Students:

• Needing a Student Visa to learn English full time
• With a Student Visa transferring from another school

To apply for an I-20 and begin the process of obtaining your F-1 student visa, Academia needs the following documents from you:

• Application Form (use our online application or download a pdf version of the application form)
• Payment of the first eight weeks of tuition
• Bank statement showing at least USD $10,000 issued within the last three months
• If you are coming with dependents (spouse or children) who will be applying for F-2 visas, we also require a copy of their passports

We can accept mailed, faxed, or scanned copies of documents. Once we receive them, we will mail your I-20 to you within 1 business day. Please apply 1-2 months in advance (depending on your country) to allow yourself enough time to get your visa. We accept payment by money order, check, or credit card (MasterCard, VISA, JCB, and American Express).

All Other Students

For Students:

• On Tourist or Other Visas
• On Visa Waiver programs
• Who are US Citizens or their dependents
• Who have Green Cards or their dependents

Applying to Academia is even easier. There is no need for advance paperwork. Just come to our office on a course starting day --- every week on Monday or the first day of every month. Orientation starts at 8:30 AM, so come a little early to fill out an application and pay tuition. After our orientation and a short placement interview, you're ready to start learning English!
