General Information

Academia offers full and part-time programs for all levels of English students. Full-time students take a minimum of 18 hours per week and at no extra charge may take as many classes as they like.

Depending on their status with Immigration, part-time students may usually take 15 hours per week. Some part-time students living in Hawaii or with certain visas may take more hours, so ask at our office.

All students are welcome to participate in school-wide activities!

Students can register any Monday or the first day of the month. If that day is a holiday, our registration is on the following Tuesday. During registration, students will have an interview and a placement test to determine their English level.

Once a level is determined, the Director of Curriculum advises the student of the classes available in that student’s level. Students have one week to try the classes and select the ones that are right for them. Students can choose their classes to fit their level and the times they like.
