General Information

Academia Language School offers full and part-time programs for students of all levels of English.  Full-time students take a minimum of 18 hours per week and at no extra charge may take as many classes as they like.

Depending on their Immigration status, part-time students usually take 15 hours per week.  Some part-time students living in Hawaii or with certain visa types may take more hours, so please feel free to ask our office staff if you have any questions.

Academia offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, and all students are welcome to participate.

Students can register on any Monday.  If that day is a holiday, registration will be held on the following Tuesday.  During registration, students will have an interview and take a placement test to determine their English level.

Once a level is determined, the Director of English Programs will help the student find appropriate courses within the student’s program of study.  Students have one week to try out recommended courses and select the ones that best fit their needs.  Classes are offered at the following times throughout the day:
