Work Experience Program (Practicum)

In this course, students get real world experience by volunteering for 10 hours a week in the community. Students prepare resumes and interview for volunteer work in settings where English must be spoken. 

The course begins with “work ready” preparation in which the culture and vocabulary of the workplace is learned. Practicum students meet for two hours each week to share experiences, observations and new vocabulary and insight.
